Tim and Marta Carriker are theological educators of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) working in several theological institutions in Brazil. They are on assignment to the Independent Presbyterian Church of Brazil. Tim’s key responsibilities include missionary research and writing, consulting in mission, and teaching in several graduate programs. Marta translates and assists PCUSA congregations in their short term mission trips to Brazil. In their leisure, Tim enjoys longboard surfing and Marta music. The purpose of these blogs is to offer resources for greater engagement in mission and faith and stimulation of discussion. Enjoy!
